Hi,

I currently backup a exchange 2000 server information mailstore and C: and D:\ drives with backup exec 8.6. The Backup seems to work fine without errors. When looking at the items to restore for exchange 2000 i cannot see any backups jobs listed under media sets for recently completed backups. Please can anyone help ?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Here is a copy of the job log for exchange . I believe the problem i am having is to do with the restore catalog for the exchange server being out of date. Is there any way to repair this ?

Thanks in advance

Certainly looks like a successful backup

Just for grins, try the steps outlined in http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/191281.htm

Then inventory and re-catalog the tape containing the Excahnge Backup you want to restore

Hi,

I have just tried that the only files left in the catalogs folder are with extension .U01, the problem still seems to be there though. I can still only see restore catalogs for the exchange server for last year, all other servers are up-to date ?

In that case, it sure looks like you are somehow overwriting the Exchange Backups

You may have to breakdown and open a support ticket fo this
