Exchange and SQL agent selection question

If I use the Exchange and SQL agents to backup the information store and databases, can I deselect the entire directories C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr and C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server?

Hi Stix,

With the agent there is no need to select those directories, unless you want to have them for restoration/DR purposes.
If those are the locations of your Information Store and SQL DBs (and you haven't pointed them elsewhere!), all you would need to do is select the Information Store and any SQL DBs in your selection list.
Clearing of logs etc. is done by BEWS.
