Exchange data to IMG file - Shows Offline

   Using 11d to backup Exchange DBs to an external USB drive.

The IMG file created 11 days ago suddently shows itself as "offline" even though the USB
drive has not been removed/disconnected.  On the "Media" tab under "Media Location" the Offline vault
does not show that IMG file.  in addition. if the IMG media is highlighted on the Media screen, the stats
for the file (bottom window of media screeen) show the "Media Location" field as blank.

  The IMG file created by the same job 3 days ago shows still online.

Vault rule is set to move the media to a Permanent offsite vault after 13 weeks.

Media is shown offline when backup exec does not find it ,or is inaccesible .
Run inventory on the backup to disk folder and see if that helps .
Check if the IMg file exisit on the USB drive ..
Make sure rule you specifid has correct seeting, I mean it can be 13 days instead of weeks which you might have accidently set .
