Exchange incremental taking 7+ hours on updating catalogs

Hi Folks,

 

Something very strange has been happning for about two weeks. The incremental backups for my exchange server ( exchange 2010 on svr 2008r2) seem to be taking hours and hours. Full backups seem to be fine. see the attached image for the status of the backup of this mornings incremental which is still running after 7 long hours.

 

Please help

Is BE and the remote agent fully updated ? And do ensure AOFO is disabled in the backup job properties.
