Our company is going through email consolidation and we no longer need to have our own Exchange server. Before we turn off our Exchange 2010 server, we would like the ability to pull up emails from our previous Exchange backups on BE2012 LTO tapes (few years worth)
I want to know if Backupexec 2012 will be able to recover emails to PST files in the future without us having an Exchange server.
If not, are there third-party companies that can recover this information from our tapes if need be? Or should I go ahead and let BE2012 convert all users archived mailboxes to PSTs (as we sitll have access to our Exchange server) ?
