We are running backup exec 2012 with SP1a and the latest updates on a windows 2008 R2 server.

The backup of our Vmware Vcenter Server has virtual machines wich are all backupped by one GRT job. Only one specific server generates the error below but the entire job bacomes yellow. (warning) This error is expected and

V-79-57344-38724 - Directory 'C\DFSRoots\DFS\Users\location_x' does not support Granular Recovery Technology (GRT).  Granular restores cannot be performed for items in this directory.

Is there a way to exclude certain errors from resulting in a warning? In my case only one of the 20 virtual machines result in a warning but the entire job is in a warning state. The system administrators have to check the job log of the server every day because it is a warning state.  Normally the job be green (succesfull).

No. There is no way to prevent warnings from being issued.

What you can do is to run a separate job for the backup of this particular VM.  This means that the other job which backs up the rest of the VM's will be successful.
