Failed Install 64-bit, Vista

Installation failed after "Install Synamtect Anti-Virus Client" with

Error 2324

Could not open file: c:\windows\system32\drivers\srtspx64.inf

GetLastError 2

The file is there and I have administrator rights 

What's the solution (trick) to get Synamtec client installed

I have had this same problem too, I am running vista 64 with sp1.  Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm getting the same error message.

I figured it out, just delete the files named srtsp* in your system32/drivers folder.  It installs after you do that

I only see "srtsp64" files in the Systems32\drivers folder (as well as srtspl64 and srtspx64). There are files that are security catalog types and some that are setup information types. Any further insight anyone can give?

Hey, I deleted those files and I could install too.

But I don't know what I maybe have broken by deleting those files. I keep a Backup of those files and let
see if they are needed later.

I made backup copies of all srtsp* files then removed from them from windows systems32 > drivers folder and it worked as suggested by skakaiser (Thanks) - just not sure what will no longer work though but fingers crossed, all will be okay.
