Fastor2/LTO1 Support on 8.6

Hi everyone,

I am trying to use an ADIC Fastor/LTO tape drive with BE 8.6 on a Win 2000 Server. I cannot get it to show all the slots. Am I correct in assuming that the person installing BE did not install the Robotic support? If so, can I now add it? I believe there is support for one Robotic library with the base installation.

Any response will be much appreciated.

Correct.

Out of the box, v8.6 supports one library with one drive, but library support is an option that must be selected at install time

Just re-run install and only select Library Support this time

I did it this morning. But still I cannot move the tape from stand alone to Robotic!

I wander if I should un install everything and re install?

Does the library show up in Device Manager?
Have you re-run the hardware wizard since enabling Library support?Message was edited by:

Hi Ken,

Here are two entries I found:

1. HP Ultrium 1-SCSI SCSI Sequential Drive
2. Unknwn medium Cahnger Device

Properties on 1 sas it is working properly. But the other says no driver installed.

Any suggestions??

Either re-run the hardware wizard or

Simply install the manufacturer drivers for the library
