Files skipped after doing a backup: spdataserver.exe; spwebfiltersvr.exe; splicensemanager.exe

VSS Snapshot warning. File c:\windows\system32\spdataserver.exe is not present on the snapshot.

VSS Snapshot warning. File c:\windows\system32\spwebfiltersvr.exe is not present on the snapshot.

VSS Snapshot warning. File c:\windows\system32\splicensemanager.exe is not present on the snapshot.
 

 

Ive dealt with a few issues alrady regarding files being skipped during the backup process. I have no idea what these files are for so before I do anything hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks!

Dear Sir:

 

I have observed in several Customer cases that the selection list includes for example the complete C: drive, and then there is an additional line for the specific file that appears skipped: c:\windows\...restofthepath...\filename and then the job log shows the exception.

Just remove the direct reference to the file, if this is the case.

The exact error it was is posted in the first post as I copied and pasted it over...

What do you mean remove the direct reference to the file? What the deuce does that mean...

Are the files important etc...?
