What are you backing up when you get this error?Are you backing up any applications like Exchange or SQL or is it a normal files backup? Is it a local or remote backup? Do you use the Advanced Open File Option?
In case you are not using the AOFO and try to backup open files,then this error can occur. You can refer to the following technote:
Title:"Corrupt data encountered" (a000fe36 HEX or e000fe36 HEX) is reported when a backup job fails.
