I'm running BE v91. on a Windows 2003 running Exchange 2003. In the past week, the backup keeps getting this message: “Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xa000feab - Corrupt data encountered - See job log for details”. “Backup - \\CBGMAIL\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group
Error, Unable to open \ because it is currently being backed up by another process.
Database or database element is corrupt”

Any idea...

Make sure there that nothing else is backing up exchange at the same time. In your backup job expand out the shadow copy components and user data. If Exchange is there and checked..uncheck it. It means VSS and Exchange agent were trying to back the same information at the same time. If you still have the issue, restart the server and check.
