Hi Good day.

Anyone encounter the similar problem before?

Lately, I will getting the following message:

The Backup Exec version that I am using is Version 10.0 Build 5484 with SP4.

Was notice the similar problem in document 277244 on http://support.veritas.com/docs/277244

and download the 10.0.5520 Hotfix 1, but was fail to patch it due to version different.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I am also having the same issue.  Some servers it fails the entire job, and on other servers it fails portions of the job.  Also the portions that are failing are both local and remote selections.

Not sure if this is related to you?
But I have the same error when backing up to Disk.
Whene backing up the information store I get the following error message with the 0xe00084af:
"Database  was not found, or could not be accessed"
Just found that there is a fix for my problem. Not sure if it is related to yours?

Still need to test out this hotfix to see if it works.
