Hello All,
I need some help on Backup Exec, We have Backup 2014 with latest service pack & hot fixes. We are trying to take backup of flat files for 3 server, But the job is getting failed with below error.
0xe00084b7 - A backup set was created which contains no data. We tried to reconfigure the job & selection setting too. But no success. Does any one faced this issue.

Thanks for the reply.
I checked that tech article. But renaming catalog folder will remove all media information?
And We are facing this issue with these 3 servers only. Remaininig backup working fine.

If you get this error during a backup then check the text view (details view) of your selections as you probably have a conflict between includes and excludes that is resulting in everything that is selected being excluded
Also make sure you have not ONLY selected something that should be backed up using a specific method - for instance if you have only selected data that is handled by DFSR - then an automatic file exclusion (AFE) will apply as you have to backup such data via Shadow Copy Components and NOT via the drive letter, and if AFE applies to 100% of your selection then it will cause the quoted error. Items that are affected by AFE can include database files, system state files, DFSR data and temp files that are useless for a restore so no need to backup.
