Final error: 0xe00084cd - The data being read from the media is inconsisten

Hello,

I am setting up a new SBS2003 server. When I try to backup the server with Backup Exec 10d (fully patched) I get the following errormessages during the verify:

An error occurred during translation of data to or from the storage media in SONY 1.
V-79-57344-33997 - The data being read from the media is inconsistent.


The job completion status is:

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe00084cd - The data being read from the media is inconsistent.
Final error category: Backup Media Errors

I have tried installing the latest tapedrivers (Sony AIT4), used new tapes, used another SCSI-controller,... still the same error.

The tapedrive is a Sony AIT4

Can anyone help ?
