Hi,
As part of our procedures, we run a full disaster recovery of our SQL Server 2008 R2 server (on Windows Server 2008 R2 VM; on a ESXi host). This is usually a fairly easy thing to do. Currently, when trying to "convert to virtual machine from point in time" the job seems to run fine, until it fails with the following error after a 6 - 8 hours:
Final error: 0xe000a431 - Post process operations (like driver injection, etc) failed on the virtual machine. The machine may not be bootable.
The suggested support thread (V-79-57344-42033) doesn't shed any light on this error, and I can't seem to find any other threads with this error.
Has anyone got any experience with this?
