Full backup job didn't save files

Hello all,

I ran a full backup job yesterday. The job uses Symantec Backup Exec 2010 and the lotus domino agent to back up the DAOS Directory. The state of the backup is "successfuly completed" but the Files in the DAOS Directory where not copied? The job summary report reported that there are 48 sub directories but there are no files for backup.

When I check the Directories with the windows explorer there are a lot of files! Why didn't the backup job copy these files? Is there a problem with the archiving bit?

To expand on Craig's answer a little

You should be using the Lotus Notes Agent to backup Notes data,  Even if you disable AFE, open databases will be skipped

See http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO23287

and the Admin Guide page 1073

When you use the Domino Agent, you need to select the databases from the Domino Databases section of the selection list and not from under C: drive.  You cannot just backup the .nlo files separately.  When you select the .nsf files, the .nlo files related to the selected .nsf files would be backed up.
