a personal recommendation:
You should consider using another solution like Backup Exec System Recovery to create backups for desaster recovery.
Backup Exec itself is a data backup solution and does not really handle compelte restores very good.
Also you will have to prepare a clean install of the server for restore and in most cases it will not work after restore.
BESR brings may nice features, like e.g. converting a backup image into a virtual machine and (most important) bare metal restore, which enables you to restore your backup image to other hardware without setting up a clean system before.
