Getting 'Access is denied' error when trying to Connect to Media Server.

When trying to administer BackupExec 9.0 from a remote workstation I am getting 'Access is denied' error when trying to Connect to Media Server. I am entering username and password for a domain admin account. There are no eventlog entries on either the destination server or on the connecting workstation. The BackupExec ver is Backup Exec Server Version v9, b4454, r00 and the workstation is the same. I have checked the DB consitency and it is OK.

I'm sure there is a simple answer, I hope.

Hi,

Are the Backup Exec services running with the same domain admin account as the one being used for logging on to Remote Administration Console..?

Is the Remote Agent for Windows Servers service running with Local System Account..?

I have tried using the same account as the services on all services - that hasn't worked. I have changed all the service logons to local system - still no good.

And the Remote Agent is running with local system account. I have tried this with the admin accounts as well. Still no luck.
