Hello

does anybody knows if Veritas Backup Exec for Windows Servers 9.1 supports in some way an USB HP DAT 72Gb? There is some additional drivers to download?

Backup Exec 9.1 queries for tape devices in an area of the Windows hardware tree that only IDE or SCSI devices normally show up. The registry location for these devices is: HKey_Local_Machine | Hardware | DeviceMap | SCSI. If a device does not show up here, the device will not be detected by Backup Exec 9.1 or lower. 10.0 and 10.1 do support this device on USB.
