Hi,

I have one server with 5 virtual servers on it. I have the HyperV agent license installed on my media server.

If I create a new backup job and just select the HyperV server from the Selection list will it also take the snapshots of the VMs? What about GRT?

Or Do I need to select the VMs from the selection list also individually?

You can select the Hyper-V host and backup all your VM's.  To get GRT, you would need to install RAWS in the VM's.  With a AMHV licence, you are entitled to install RAWS in any number of VM's hosted on the machine which is licenced for AMHV.  There is no extra charge.  For applications like Exchange and SQL Server, you would need an application licence per VM to get GRT.
