Hang on Pre-Processing when trying to restore mailbox from GRT backup

We have a valid GRT backup on disk. After selecting the actual mailbox for restore and submitting the job the Job-status is hung on "Pre-Processing" (elapsed time 1.30) . Current Operation is "None" - no errors and no alerts. The Agent on Exchange 2003 server is running. Using BE 12.5 rev 2213 - all available updates installed on a Windows Server 2003 R2 32-bit std edition, all updates installed on Windows as well. What to do? Please help!

I do not have a solution. Just want to inform you that you are not alone having this issue.

I have the same problem and it came after installing 12.5

Something for Symantec support maybe !

Hello, yes i think so also, Have now an open case at Support, seems to be a problem to read data from the backupfiles on disk. Now tying to duplacet to tape and make a new restore from the tape.
