Hotfix 279458 broke BE 21.4

Hi,

We have BE 21.4 on Server 2019 Standard and all was well.

Until we installed Hotfix 279458, that is.

Now all backups (full and differential) that are run after this hotfix was installed fail with this error:

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000034c - Error: Unable to back up the selected resource using the specified options because the Backup Exec Active Directory Recovery Agent did not install completely.
Final error category: Resource Errors

I do not see a way of backing out the hotfix.

We are a Non-profit and this is a Not for Resale installation, ineligible for support.

Please help.

Backup runs on the server only.

Which would be better - -

1) Apply Hotfix 279458 again

2) Repair install using the 21.4 DVD (would that back out the hotfix?)

3) Complete removal and reinstall - how do we preserve our catalogs, etc?
