Hi,

After applying hotfix 313901 to Backup Exec 12.0 media server we got the following errors on all our jobs:

On the Features list, ensure that the agent is selected for installation. Continue with the installation, and then retry the operation.

We have reinstalled and update remote agents and reinstalled license options on the media server with no luck.

After uninstalling hotfix 313901 everything now works as a charm again.

I have noticed:

VirtApi.dll version 1.0.114.155 is now back to version 1.0.111.24

VirtFile.sys version 1.0.114.155 is now back to version 1.0.111.0

Others are having similar issues with hotfix 310648 (VirtApi/VirtFile version 1.0.114.125)

Something must be wrong with the 1.0.114.x versions !?

Symantec: Please do not put these hotfixes on Live Update before they have been properly tested - Thanks
