Hotfix Installation to BE2012

Dear All,

I need to install Backup Exec 2012 Hotfix 215906 for Exchange 2013 SP1 compatibilty. I wanted to know whether this hotfix itself is sufficient as my Current version of Backup Exec is BE 2012 SP4. Does this hotfix is applicable to my environment and the request which I had requested for.

Check the release notes below...if it is not listed, then you can install it An SP has all previous HFs and new additions.

Per the BE 2012's SCL, here is the foot note for Exchange 2013 SP1 support:-

Backup Exec 2012 with Service Pack 4 + Hotfix 215906. Non-GRT only.

So yes, you would need to install the hotfix and only non-GRT backup is available for Exchange 2013 SP1 with BE 2012.

Does this Hotfix supports exchange 2010 SP3 as well and also revert on how to uninstall this hotfix.

Exchange 2010 SP3's support with BE 2012 was added in a previous update, i.e. SP2.

And, the hotfix cannot be uninstalled.
