Why not just go to v9.1 (a free upgrade that will accept your v9.0 serials) ?

v9.1 here http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/264658.htm
SP2 here http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/275247.htm

Okay I need this patch too. After installing SP1 for Backup Exec 9.0 I tried to install the newest drivers from Veritas for the tape drive. It gives an error saying I need to install this patch first (be4454rhf2) but I cannot find this on their website.
I see some people saying get the upgrade to 9.1 but from what I read the only difference between 9.0 and 9.1 is desktop and laptop versions were disabled in 9.0. Now they are enabled in 9.1 and thats the only difference, was I misinformed?
I need the newest drivers because according to the knowledgebase they can cause routing and remote access service to not start automatically upon booting the Win2k SBS server.

Hello,

That is not true. Backup exec 9.1 resolves many other issues that were present in the previous versions. It is a free upgrade and you can continue using the same serial numbers that you used with 9.0.

Refer to the following technotes:

VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 for Windows Servers revision 4691.1 (Single .ZIP download)
http://support.veritas.com/docs/264658

Here is the link for the latest Service Pack:

VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 for Windows Servers revision 4691 - Service Pack 4a - Includes Critical Security Update
http://support.veritas.com/docs/280008

Latest drivers:
VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 - Device Driver Installer (20050115) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20041231) and Robotic Library Release (45) (Intel Only)
http://support.veritas.com/docs/273853

Hope this helps. Revert in case you have more questions on this.
