We are new in backup exec. We know that Backup Exec (latest version by now) is not supporting the backup of Oracle on AIX. Can anyone help us to take the backup is a way that:
A flat file backup policy first trigger a script which(script) take native Oracle backup , after successful backup of Oracle via script the flat file backup policy can trigger and take the Oracle backup via this policy. My first question is , does it possible via backup Exec ?
if yes my second question:
When we restore it via Backup Exec it will definately restore the Oracle native backup image and when Oracle native backup image will be restored, at the end of this restore a script can trigger and restore the Oracle native backup.
My second question is , does it possible via backup Exec ?
