First check if your device is listed in the Backup Exec 2014 Hardware compatibility list (HCL)
For HCL refer to http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH214803
BE can detect a tape device only if it appears in the Windows Device Manager so make sure the
hardware is listed in the device manager. If its a Tape Library then its recommended to install
Micorsoft drivers for the autoloader\medium changer and Symantec drivers for the tape drive.
To know more about tape storage in BE I would suggest you to read BE2014 Admin guide
(Tape storage section is on Pg#358 onwards)
For Admin Guide refer to http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC7418

As previously advised, make sure your tape library and tape drive is functioning correctly in the Windows Device Manager. The tape library should appear as an Unknown Medium Changer with a Microsoft driver.
With these, then BE will be able to detect the library and automatically add it to the BE console.

Tape library and tape drive is functioning correctly.
I don't know how configure a tape storage from the wizard configuration.
I perform following steps:
Configure Storage -> Tape Storage
At this point, I don't know what select --> "Configure barcode rules for a robotic library" or "Configure robotic library partitions"
Which selection?
