Hi,
I try to install a Remote Agent for our Mac server but even though i got a valid licence key for "Remote Agent for Linux/Unix Server or Macintosh System", i don't see it in "Select the Remote Product" when i add a single computer, only "Symantec Backup Exec", "Remote Agent for Windows Systems" and "DLO Maintenance Service".
Is someone know how to install it?
Thx!
Jay

Before installing Remote Agent make sure the MAC OS is listed in the BE software compatibility list.
Refer to the below article on How to install the Remote Agent for MacIntosh Servers (RAMS)
https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH61717.html

You cannot push the agent install onto a Mac, you have to copy the install files to a Mac and then extract it on the Mac before running an install script.
Do not extract the content of the install on Windows as because the Mac is based on Linux and some of the 3rd party included components have used case sensitive filenames if you extract on windows you get file name conflicts that do not happen when extracted on a Mac or Linux.

After you have done an update to BE, you also need to manually patch your Mac agent to the latest update. See my blog below

It is on the BE installation DVD. See page 1939 of the BE 2010 Admin Guide on instructions on how to install it.
