How do I restor an Oracle Database in Backup Exec

I have a Windows 2003 server that has an Oracle databse.  My client has been backing it up every day every 4 hours.  The client needs to restore the data to a different test server from a previous date so that they can do some quality testing on some new orders.

My problem is, when I choose the server name in the backups, the Oracle database acts as if there is no content there.  It shows all of the file level information but, no databases.  If I can get the data off of the tape, they can restore the rest.

Does anyone know how to get the data off of the tape?

I am also facing exactly same issue. Guys any clues why Oracle restore job not showing any data. Other drive backed up by same backup job is showing data but only oracle database is not showing up.

view by media is not supported in oracle restore.

 

I am using single backup job for backing up all servers data including Oracle database. Do database job need to be created saparately. Backup log showing no errors after completing. Even its also showing that 15 Gb or oracle data is backedup.
