How do you remove the Backup Exec Enterprise Vault Agent on Backup Exec 12.5

Foolishly I decided to try the Backup Exec Enterprise Vault Agent and added the trial to our Backup Exec 12.5 system. Now I find that it does not work with EV 8, it has limited my backup options on backing up my vault stores which were fine up to now.

So I decided to uninstall from my media server wnet into the Install Options... screen and unchecked the EV Agent and it goes through its processing and lo and behold the agent does not go away. Welcome to the Hotel Symantec.

Anybody know how do I get this uninstalled fom my media server?

You will need to rename this file on the media server and the EV servers.  It should be located in the Backup Exec install directory.  Just rename it to .old.
