How free space on disk storage

Hi,

My  disk based storage (NAS) of 8 TB is full. I'd like to free some space so I changed the expiration period of some backup job from 2 weeks to 1. But the nas is still full. How can I free the expired backup ?

By default, DLM will not delete the last recovery point which means that you would always have at least 2 backup chains on your disk. If you want DLM to delete any expired backup set then use the registry seeing at the end of this document http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH187957
