How to Test Simplified Disaster Recovery

Hi all,

Am using BUE2012 with Simplified Disaster Recovery and was wondering how I could go about testing that SDR actually works.

I don't have exactly the same model of servers 'free' for me to test the restore so was wondering if VMware would be a good restore point.

Any suggestions?

Hi Pshankland,

Simplified Disaster Recovery supports restoring backup of physical hardware to Virtual machine and vice versa. Restoring to different hardware configuration is a new feature being added in SDR.
