How to backup Oracle 9i running on windows 2003

Hi

One of our customer using oracle 9i running on windows 2003. and Suse linux.

there are totally 3 database. total size comes to 4TB. The challenge is backup windows. and customer says he cannot backup differential...so he does full backup only.

 

Any suggestion,

How do we achieve using symantec products. is it possible to do backup weekly full backup and daily incremental or differential....

Dear Kamal! In my opinion a database with 4 TB of data is the field of Netbackup. If i would be in your place i should try to separate the the databases to 3 jobs and improve the numbers of the cocurent operations. I think the weekly full should be great but i suggest use differental daily backup insted of incremental because its guarantee bigger protection.

Thanks for the post reply. I came to know from customer that he is unable to do Incremental or Differential.

My general question, is incremental or differential is possible in Oracle database 9i using Backupexec or

netbackup.
