How to backup data on Vitual machine of ESX server through SAN (offhost)

There are many VMs in our VMware environment. Some VMs (Windows 2012 OS) have big size database (SQL or Oracle) or files. Is there any solution to backup data on these VMs through SAN because we do not want to backup big data through network. The backup software using is backup exec 15 version.

You use the virtual agent configured for SAN Transport

 

The LUN that holds the datatsore must be connecetd over SAN to the Backup Exec server as well.

 

Although this is possibly not a solution for Oracle as we don't offer GRT support for Oracle data inside a VM.
