How to change date format in Backup Exec

Hi, we have Backup Exec server 2014 SP1 installed on a Windows Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1). We found the date format shown in BE is mm/dd/yyyy. In the server OS, the date format is dd/mm/yyyy. My question is:

How to change date format in BE to dd/mm/yyyy in this case? Thanks in advance.

...not sure you can, and it looks like it's a similar thing to what is described below in BE 2012:

Thanks!

Where are the dates being displayed of a different format ? Is it under Reports or Job logs/history or else ?

Additionally, what is the regional language set for the server and what language is BE running under ?

Backup Exec should display dates in the same format as the Operating System is configured for, however, we do sometimes have regional defects where the US standards for dates (mm/dd/yyyy) are displayed when you are using one of the non-US formats of dd/mm/yyyy. When this happens it is usually not all of the dates in the product that show this way and we need to know exactly which area of the product displays incorrectly so we can confirm if it is something we are already aware of or something new.

Also if you have not found a TECH article for BE 2014 mentioning your specific condition then I'd recommend logging a formal support case (although please do not do this if you are seeing this date format inside of SQL and not as part of the usual admin console display)

Thanks. The date displayed in job history are in mm/dd/yyyy format. Our customer wants to change it to dd/mm/yyyy. We changed time format at OS level but in BE, in job history, it still displays as mm/dd/yyyy.

Afaik, there was a similar known issue in BE 2012 but that was resolved in BE 2014.

Were new jobs run after making the change at the OS level ? Try restarting the BE services if you checked the job history of newly created jobs.

And what regional language has been set at the OS ?
