How to configure storage for backup

HI,

how to confirgure storage and backup ?

1. my source is windows drive (i am going to take backup)

2.destination is my network share (backup of windows drive will be stored here)

as per above scenario, i am not able to do

and the backup of windows drive storing itself not in the backup drive.

if am wrong with above scenario, how to choose the destination drive to store the backup.

My requirements,

i have only one windows drive and i need to take bakcup the same into network share.

Please answer my quetion.

From storage tab of BE, click on configure storage -> choose disk based storage -> click next 2 times and you should get the option to configure storage on Network share. Make sure the share has permission for Backup Exec service account.

Once configured create a backup job selecting the windows drive and select the network share as the storage in the backup job settings. I hope this helps.
