How to count the agent number

Hi symantec support

Please advise how to count the DB agent/ file agent /linux agent on BE2010 and BE15,so that I can know how many license I need to purchase?

Number of remote Windows servers + number of NAS to back up = number of RAWS licences that you need Number of Linux/Unix servers to be backed up = number of RALUS licences that you need This is the same for any version of BE. However, if you have bought Agent for Application and Databases (or things like Exchange licence for BE 2010) for a particular server then that server do not need any RAWS/RALUS licence
