How to create selection that always use last available backup set?

How can I have selection list that will always use last available backup set? I need it for VMware agent, but maybe there is a general way to do it?

The redirected AVVI is not supported by bemcmd, so the above solution is not working in thi case.

I guess you are out of luck.  If you want, you can post your requirement as a suggestion in the Ideas section.  If there are enough users who vote for it, it might get implemented in a future release of BE.
