How to delete a 'Phantom Job' from Job Setup list

I have an Erase job showing on the Job Setup list that cannot be deleted or cancelled or edited because BUE says it is active. The job did not compete properly due to a media problem. The job does not appear in the Job Monitor list. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Greetings, have you tried stop/start all BE services? or just rebooting the server? That should clear it out for you.

I have this problem, too. I have several Catalog jobs that I want to delete, but they won't go away. I've tried stopping/starting the BE services, rebooting the server and repairing the BE database. No luck. Any help would be appreciated.
