Hyper-V Generation Support for BE 2014?

Hello!

I am looking through all of the support information for BE 2014 and the Hyper-V agent, but I can't seem to find anything that says if the Hyper-V agent (Or V-Ray Edition) will or will not support Generation 2 VMs.  Has anyone attempted a backup of a gen 2 VM with any success?  Is there an article that details the VM support for the agent that I'm simply not finding?

Hi,

BE 2014 supports Windows Server 2012 R2 which introduces Gen 2 VMs...so the assumption can be made that BE in turn supports Gen 2 VMs.

As another point the following text:

• The restore of a Gen2 virtual machine can be redirected only to another Hyper-V host that runs Windows Server 2012 R2.

As such that also implies we can support the backup as otherwise how can we say there is a limitation on the redirected restire.
