Hyper-V added Virtual Harddisk won't backup

Hello, I try to keep ist as simple as possible. If there is anything unclear please ask.

I added an extra Virtual Harddisk to an existing Hyper-V virtual server. When I add this additional HD to an existing backup job, the backup stops when it trys to backup this new harddisk. I have to reboot the backup exec Server and delete the BE_Snapshot using Powershell, before I can start another Backup of this virtual server. I created a new backup job. I also deleteted the vitual server from backup exec and added it again. Nothing helped. What could be the reason for this behavior?

If Hyper-V VM is selected in any backup job, it didn’t require adding anything additional in an existing backup job.
The existing backup job will automatically backup any additional hard disks added under the same VM.

Are you trying to attach the pass-through hard disk to a VM?

Thanks,

can you test the backup with 21.4 and update us if that works ? make sure to update the agent on hyper V and guest machine as well before running the job with BE 21.4
