Hyper-V backups failing for select VMs

We use Backup Exec to back up several Hyper-V VMs. I have two particular VMs that failed to back up. The error is:

V-79-40960-38521 - Snapshot Technology: Initialization failure on: "VRTSRV::\\HYPERVHOST\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\VMNAME". Snapshot technology used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).

A virtual machine snapshot could not be created. Use the Event Viewer on the Hyper-V host to identify the cause. If the virtual machine is not properly configured, it may be necessary to use the Event Viewer in the virtual machine to identify the cause.

All other VMs on these hosts back up fine. They all have the latest agent installed. One is a 2008 R2 VM; the other is 2012 R2. One unique item about these servers is one has SQL Express on it and the other has full SQL Server. We are not using GRT. We have no trobule backing up the SQL databases from the one running full SQL. But trying to back up the entire virtual machine fails.

We've updated integration services. Rebooted both the hosts and the VMs.

Are there any other messages in the job log about the failure?  Would it be possible to attach the job log to the post so we can review it?
