Hi,
we are restoring after a RAID crash and Restore is very slow. Rate is about 160 MB/minute. We are recovering Hyper-V Backups and have to restore about 3.6 TB!
We are directly recovering the Hyper-V Files on the Hyper-V hosts. We also have setup a Fileserver and recovered the files directly with GRT which gives us even poorer performance of about 7 MB/min.
If we select the last Full Backup for restore the restore runs much faster at about 700MB/minute. But as the last full is over one week old we would have to use the last incremental backup.
Could someone give us please a hint what we could do to speed up the last incremenal restore for Hyper-V?
