I/O error on backup or restore restart-checkpoint file

Backup Jobs are completing OK but looking in the system event log on the media server I am getting the below error in my application event log. Have gotten this error several times in the past month, but not every night. Is this something I need to be concerned about?

This error message is followed by an information event that says:
