I cannot see mailboxes to restore in Exchange 2007 SP3 backup

Hi,

I have Backup Exec 2012 SP1a and Exchange 2007 SP3 on Windows 2003 x64 Sp2.

I have created a backup job and the job completes successfuly.

I have unchecked Advanced Open File because in the administration is mentioned that you cannot restore Individual mailboxes with snapshot technolgy.

I select Information Store for backup.

GRT is enabled in the Microsoft Exchange.

I'm using Exchange administrator with a mailbox in exchange to backup and restore.

After Clicking restore i cannot see my Mailbox databases but i cannot see my mailboxes.

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Thanks

Are the backups going to Disk or tapes?

If the backups are going to tapes then try to duplicate the backup set to disk and then check if you are able to see the individual mailboxes.

Thanks,

-Sush...

Hi,

Have you tried to manually stage the restore to disk first (duplicate the backup set), and then restore from disk?

Do you comply with the requirements as per the TN below for Exchange 2007?

http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO74428

Thanks!

Pls confirm if the BE mailbox is not hidden, is activated & is unique...Do check if the remote agent on the exch server is running under a local system account..
