Hello,

I recently installed a IBM HH LTO Gen 2 SCSI TD, the specfications are as follows:

IBM HH LTO Gen 2 SCSI

200/400 GB Half High LTO-2 Tape Drive

Product # 39m5658

Firmware ver: 0330

The tape drive works fine with Windows backup, with the exception of an error stating the media was in an unreconisable format and asked to reformat the media.

When trying to backup with Back Exec 9.1 I recieve the error msg "Invalid Physical Volume Libary", can anyone please assist?

Also, selecting the properties of the tape drive within backup exec 9.1 will display the general tab witn no information for the device type or media type and the media type tab contains wildcards for the media type.

Thanks,
