IDR Restore from non raid to raid

Hi just wondered does anyone know if you can perform a full IDR backup of a non raid Windows 2011 SBS server then create a new RAID array on the same server i.e raid 0 mirrored for C:\ operating system and raid 5 for data drive.

Software RAID, no. Hardware RAID yes. IDR will put the OS back to it's original state (create volumes etc...), but it has no idea about the hardware underneath. If you hardware RAID it, and present those logical vloumes to the OS, IDR won't know it. It'll just see the drives.

If you want Software RAID, then you would not do an IDR.
