Hi,
we are backing up our fileserver (2.9 TB) over network and takes about 23 hours. I splitted to two jobs (we have two tapedrives) but the speed has no increased significant. Backup job locally can work with 6 GB/min, but remote server can save with 3 GB/min.
Both server (Media Server and File Server) have more (4 and 6) Gbit network card. I suppose the agent on other windows server can not provide enough data for two jobs in same time (more than 3GB/min). Am I right?
