Increment job running as Full

Hi All,

 

I wondering why my Incremental still backing up the file that's already backup by Full. I want to happen to backup only the newly created file.

...is that a static file, or did it change which would explain why it's being backed up?

Also, which version of BE are you using as this wasn't tagged...

Can enlighted me about static file?  I want to backup only the new record video whick is video from CCTV

...seriously? A static file is something that doesn't change...ie. nothing added or changed on it.

If that file changes name, file size, whatever, it's going to get backed up...

May file is not static.  I want to backup only newly added file..

...if that file changes, then the INCR backup will back it up...this is how it works!

Otherwise exclude that particular file from the backup!

No changes in the file. CCTV software just generate a folder every end of the day . Now in that folder there is a new video file on it. So when the Incremental run. The new file created by CCTV should capture only the newly created folder with video not all video. thanks!
