Incremental backup during full backup

I have a simple backup job for a NTFS volume of 22 TB with full backup and incremental backup to tape (3 tape drives available). When the full backup is running (2-3 days), the incremental backup is automatically stopped. Is there any way to perform incremental backup during full backup (same volume to different tapes)?

If Incremental and full start at same time, the one who is less frequently run takes precendence and the other one who not start while it is running.
Since you have 3 Tape drive, you can split the job into 3 in such a way that one tape is sufficient to cater to the size of volume selected for that one job. This way they run in parallel and full completes faster. then Incremental can run earlier if that is the concern.
